Nike x Livestock World Cup Panel
To celebrate the World Cup coming to Canada, Nike took on one of the most ambitious collaborations in the brand’s history, partnering with seven different brands from seven different competing countries to create their X2 collection. The result was a commemoration of culture, community, and sport, reflecting national pride(s) through a distinctly local POV. With Livestock being the exclusive retailer in Canada, I worked with the creative team to build out two separate “Culture of Sport” panels that would, in turn, reflect the same array of experiences that come together to make up the world’s game.
From former National Team players to young Canadians competing abroad to the content creators and creative directors who push the culture forward, we hosted conversations across Vancouver and Toronto. The goal was to celebrate the intersectionality of the sport, the subcultures that have shaped it, and the moments that connect us. By hand-selecting the panellists and production teams, moderating each conversation, briefing talent, and monitoring budgets/schedules across the Vancouver and Toronto launches, I played a role in elevating a major cultural moment for both Nike and Livestock.
You can see a breakdown of each of our panellists as well as the full conversations below.
